Super Visa is a special category of TRV issued to parents and grandparents only to visit their family in Canada. This long-term visa allows the parents and the grandparents to enter or exit the country for a 10 year period. Each visit can be up to two years in duration.
Key Super Visa Requirements
- Provide a letter of invitation from their Canadian child or grandchild living in Canada.
- Proof of Canadian medical insurance coverage of at least $100,000 for at least 1 year period.
- Written financial agreement from child or grandchild and proof of minimum income requirements as per LICO (low income cut-off).
- Prove parental relationship to the child or grandchild.
